Saturday and Throwing a Party

This morning I got up for Concrete Canoe practice, and Chuck got up to teach guitar lessons. After practice, I helped work on finishing the canoe - it's really close to being done. Chuck had lessons until 3pm and that's when I stopped working and came home too.

I had tons of homework to do this weekend (trying to get ahead before the Rocky Mountain Conference on Thursday), and I tried to fit some of it in among all the other things we needed to do today. We did laundry and cleaned up for the little get together we were throwing in the evening. We ran to Smith's again to pick up some chips and salsa. We then picked up a Little Caesar's pizza so we could eat before the party.

At 7pm the first people arrived. I set up the food area in the kitchen, and we enjoyed the snacks. We all played Just Dance 2 on the wii, and then the girls congregated in the kitchen while the boys played some other games. Chuck made delicious smoothies for everyone. We invited Aaron, Elsie; Sabrina, Vanessa, Brad; Spencer, and Zoe. It was a lot of fun.
