Monday and Vacationing

Well I guess I should catch you up on our adventures. Jaycee I did a 10 day vacation with Jaycee's family. We went to the beach,

went river rafting in the Kerns river, and we drove up along the California coast (on day 3). We stopped by state parks and places on the way; including

Cambria,

San Simeon Bay,

Julia pfeiffer Burns, and

Pfeiffer Beach. They were so beautiful and we saw tons of otters and seals. We stayed in Monterey. The next day we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was cool to see all the sea animals and sharks. Then we did the 17 mile drive in Monterey (very scenic). That was on Jaycee's birthday. The next day we drove to Santa Cruz and went to "The mystery Spot". At this place all the laws of physics are distorted. They think it has something to do with the magnetic field in this spot. The gravitational direction is tilted, and heights are changed. Then we went to Big Basin Redwoods State Park. they had ginormous trees! Then we drove to our hotel in San Francisco andthen went to the Golden Gate Bridge. We walked half way across it and back. the next day we went to Alcatraz (an island where the worst prisoners used to be kept) and did a tour. then we walked around the tourist pier area. We got to see lots of bums trying to make it big. We also drove on Lombard st. (the famous windy road in San Francisco). Then we stayed in Sacramento at their aunt and uncle's home. the next day we went to Sutter's Fort, the State Capital (and did a tour), Blue Diamond almond factory, and historic downtown Sacramento. The next day we went to the Donner Pass Museum and

went to Lake Tahoe. We did a hike to a waterfall. It was beautiful. On sunday we went to a sacrament meeting and then drove to the Jarvis Grandparent's home near Salt Lake City, UT. Now we are home in Provo but we are heading up by Kamas today to stay at the Cornwall cabin for a week. This has been very memorable so far. We are excited for this week because we are bringing our mountain bikes and rock climbing gear to the cabin. Hope your summer is going well.
